Height Bottle Markings

10" shaped like a syrup bottle
Description, including signature and date

This bottle was made by the same artist who made the family record shown in Miscellaneous Subjects. It contains a picture of a church cut out of 1/16" mahogany in two colors, with a rabbit, flowers and birds. Over the church is a sign with lettering made out of what looks like alphabet pasta, reading "The Good Pastor Gilbert B. Furst." On the back, it is signed "A. S. Beiler" in pencil. Amos Beiler lived in Lancaster Co., PA. He was a Mennonite and died in 1993. He made lots of bottles, another of which has flowers and a bird.
