Description, including signature and date
This little bottle contains a red loom with two china dolls weaving. They are dressed in light blue checked dresses and yellow shawls. At the very top of the loom is a yarn winder and a stub of wood about an inch high dressed in a tiny swatch of blue checked cloth and yellow shaw; (see below). The artist, not having room for a third doll in the bottle, made this tiny person to sit at the yarn winder. There are several weavers bottles known, but none of the others have the little third doll.
