Description, including signature and date

This Carl Worner saloon bottle is similar to all his others, but it is decorated with glitter; the only others decorated with glitter are the Frank Behrens saloon and the Michael Walsh saloon. One the inside of the bottle, facing out, is a printed sticker with "Headquarters Newark Curling and Quoiting Club." (picture at the bottom of this page) Although there was a Newark Curling Club from 1875 to 1908, there was no M. Rummel saloon during those years in Newark NJ city directories, and the other Newarks (NY, DE, OH, IL and CA) are much smaller towns. In Newark NJ directories, a Michael Rummel had saloons from 1911 to 1916. The bottle is not signed or dated.
